# KeyLight settings

## Installation depth class

The installation depth class of cables and conduits is determined in group INSTALL_DEPTH_CLASS.

- **Text…Text (en)**: Text specifying the installation depth, for example, 0–199 m.
- **Order no.**: the order in which installation depth classes are shown to users on selection lists.

## Installation type

The installation method of the streetlight is specified in group SL_INSTALLATION_TYPE.

- **Text…Text (en)**: Text indicating the installation method, e.g. “Column”.
- **Order no.**: the order in which installation methods are shown to users on selection lists.

## Configuring duct types

Select **Keylight_Core -> Conduit – Duct – Types**

- Duct type: duct type identifier
- Material: duct material. Specify the available options in the DUCT_MATERIAL group. ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- Color: Not available in the browser application.
- Outer diameter: the duct’s outer diameter in numerals
- Inner diameter: the duct’s inner diameter in numerals
- Duct shape: the shape of the duct. Configure the available options in the DUCT_FORM group. ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- Unit price: not in use
- Number of sub-ducts: not in use
- Sub-duct type: not in use
- Availability starts: the date from which a duct of the specified type will be available for construction purposes
- Availability ends: end date of the availability of a duct of the specified type
- KeyRNS cell: not available in browser applications.
- Order number: Not used for duct types

## Duct defaults

To set the defaults, go to a **Conduit** form in the application and click **Save as defaults** in the drop-down menu for **Save**. The selection is only visible to admin users.

## Duct owners

Select **Keylight_Core** -> **Conduit – Duct – Owners** to specify duct owners.

Duct owners are specified in the text constant group DUCT_OWNER, which means that they can also be accessed through text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).

- **Text…Text (en)**: The name of the duct owner with translations.
- **Order no.**: the order in which owners are shown to users on selection lists.

## renters of the duct

Select **Keylight_Core** -> **Conduit – Duct – Renters** to specify duct renters.

## Specifying cable types

Select **Keylight_Core** -> **Cable types**

- Type: cable type identifier.
- Technical data: The technical details of the cable type.
- Technology: cable technology. Specify the available options in the EL_CABLE_TECHNOLOGY group. ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- Installation method: how the cable is installed. Specify the available options in the CABLE_TYPE group. ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- Conductor material: Conductor material. Specify the available options in the EL_CONDUCTOR_MTRL group. ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- Voltage: Cable voltage
- Temperature: Cable temperature
- Resistance L: Used for short circuit calculation
- Resistance N: Used for short circuit calculation
- Effective reactance L: Used for short circuit calculation
- Effective reactance NL: Used for short circuit calculation
- Effective reactance N: Used for short circuit calculation

## Cable defaults

To set the defaults, go to a **Cable** form in the application and click **Save as defaults** in the drop-down menu for **Save**. The selection is only visible to admin users.

## Cable technologies

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Cable – Types (technology)** to specify cable technologies.

Cable technologies are specified in the text constant group EL_CABLE_TECHNOLOGY, which means that they can also be accessed through text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).

- **Text…Text (en)**: Cable technology with translations.
- **Numeric value**: Determines whether the type appears in the form’s selection list (1 = shown) **Order number**: the order in which technology types are shown to the user on selection lists.

## Cable contractors

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Cable – Contractors** to specify cable contractors.

## Specifying the types of hardware rooms

Select **Keylight_Core -> Premises** – **Types**

- Premises – Manufacturer: Premises manufacturer
- Product code: Premises product code
- Cost: Premises cost as a figure
- Type: Premises type name
- Premises – Type: Premises type. Specify the options in the EL_PREM_TYPE group for text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- Network type: Premises network type. Specify the options in the NET_TYPE group for text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).
- **Tip:** Ask Keypro support for help to change the telecom premises description technology.

## Premises coatings

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Premises – Coatings** to specify hardware room coatings.

## Premises main fuse links

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Premises – Main fuse links** to specify hardware room main fuses.

## Premises control suppliers

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Premises – Control suppliers** to specify the hardware room’s control suppliers.

## Premises finishing

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Keylight Premises finishing** to specify the hardware room’s finishing options.

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Premises – Block fuse – Switches** to specify hardware room group fuse link switches.

- **Numeric value**: The value of a fuse in a group fuse link in specific telecom premises.

## Conductor materials for hardware room short circuit calculation

Select **Keylight_Core** **-> Premises – Short circuit calculation – Conductor materials** to specify the conductor materials for hardware room short circuit calculation.

The conductor materials for the short circuit calculation of hardware rooms are specified in the text constant group EL_CONDUCTOR_MTRL, which means that they can also be accessed through text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).

## Specifying conduit types

Select **Keylight_Core** -> **Conduit types**

The **Conduit types** admin page is used to manage the CONDUIT_TYPE group under Text constants, and the group can also be accessed through Text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).

- **Order no.**: the order in which conduit types are shown to users on selection lists
- Numeric value 2: **RESERVED! Will be used in the future by the kaivulupa.fi service;** the field indicates whether it is a route installed underground or overhead. This information is used in the safe-to-dig.com service to configure whether certain conduit types are displayed on the map provided to diggers.

- **Order no.**: the order in which profile statuses are shown to users on selection lists

## Configuring manhole types

On the **Admin site**, select **Keylight_core** -> **Manhole types**

The **Manhole types** admin page is used to manage the EL_MANHOLE_TYPE group under Text constants, and the group can also be accessed through Text constants ([Editing text constants](/docs/keylight-settings-3-1#_Tekstivakioiden_muokkaaminen)).

- **Order no.**: the order in which manhole types are shown to users on selection lists
- **Numeric value 2**: **RESERVED! Will be used by the Kaivulupa.fi service**; the field specifies the manhole’s installation type: buried or aerial (Manholes can in some cases connect Arina-type conduits, which are typically installed overhead). This information is used in the safe-to-dig.com services to configure whether certain manhole types are displayed on the map provided to diggers.

- Text [fi]…Text [en]: The name of the pole type and its translation shown to the user.
- Abbreviation [fi]...Abbreviation [en]: The abbreviation of the pole type name and its translation shown to the user.
- Numeric value: Determines whether the pole type appears in the form’s option list. (1 = shown)
- Numeric value 2…Numeric value 4: not in use
- Text value: not in use
- Category: not in use
- Description: not in use
- Availability starts: not in use
- Availability ends: not in use
- Order no.: the order in which types are shown to users on selection lists
