Profinder materials
Two different type of address data is imported into KeyAqua: B2C ja B2B
B2C: the address data of private individuals to the extent that the information is public. The data comes from an address database that is automatically and regularly updated. For example, if a person is moving, the information is also updated in Profinder. The Profinder address information is therefore based on their own data source, and not on the customer information system or the information stored in the Keypro system. Profinder receives the data to the extent that the information is public. Contact information is not in the data if the person has forbidden the use of the information.
B2B: this data contains company information. For example, if a person has a subscription in the company's name, their contact information can be obtained from this here.
Profinder integration in KeyAqua (This function is subject to a separate order)
Keypro offers customers the opportunity to retrieve data from Profinder by using zip code and export it to KeyAqua, KeyDH or KeyGas customer environments. The weekly process required to maintain the integration consists of the following steps:
- All previous Profinder consumer points and consumer point users are removed from the KeyAqua system.
- KeyAqua receives a new list of consumer point users’ from Profinder with updated address information.
- KeyAqua will create new Profinder based consumer point users into the system. If the address can’t be found inside of the Network area, consumer point user will stay in system but cannot be linked or picked from the map.
- First, KeyAqua tries to link these new Profinder based consumer point users with the existing consumer points in KeyAqua.
- If linking does not work, the system will create a new external consumer point from Profinder and then link the consumer point user to it.
If the resident updates information through customer registration, the resident's data source will automatically change to KeyAqua, and it will not be deleted during the weekend. If KeyAqua user changes consumer point or the consumer point user to something other than “Profinder”, the data will not be deleted either.
NOTE: If the user wants to keep a consumer point and a consumer point user for the future, the source of the object needs to be changed and saved to KeyAqua. In which case they won’t be removed in next weekly process.
The search process of new addresses
The system first limits the search based on the zip code, so there is no chance that the address would be connected with a consumer point in the wrong city. After that, the search process includes the following steps. First the system tries to find…
- Matching street names in Finnish or Swedish, street numbers, cities, zip codes, apartment numbers, apartment name with numbers or possible A, B or C letters.
- If matches are not found, the system will skip finding matching apartments.
- If matches are still not found, the system will skip finding matching cities.
- If matches are still not found, the system will skip finding matching zip codes.
- If matches are still not found, the system will jump to DVV address (external source) and starts finding matches again.
- If matches are found the system will connect. If addresses are only found in DVV, it will create address + apartment in KeyAqua and then connect.
NOTE: Unfortunately, if the address name has typos, for example, Truntie 23, nothing can be done. The object will be in the system without any geometry.
For example:
Profinder provides the address: Turuntie 23, 02940, Bembölee, Finland. The customer has exported a list of zip codes into the system, so the search is already limited to a specific location. The system starts a more detailed search process and notices that the city does not match the rest of the address because there is a typo, so the next thing it does is search only by street name, street number and zip code. The system continues the search process as described.
