Subregion

Use the KeyWork Subregion  tool to create and manage subregions in the program. The constructor maintains and manages the subregion settings, which affect the program’s functions.

Constructor settings

• A subregion or city district, depending on the regional division material in use, is defined as belonging to the responsibility area of a particular contractor. One subregion can be assigned to only one contractor company.
• Area radius (m) is the distance in metres. Open tasks within the area radius that are of the same task type will be combined into one task. The default area radius is 50 m, unless otherwise specified.
• Priority determines the final priority of tasks within the subregion. By default, the priority assigned to a subregion is also assigned to the task.
• The contractor specifies the contractor company from which the tasks in the subregion will be ordered. The selection affects the Show search criterion on the Task search form. Each subregion can be assigned to only one contractor.
• Order automatically determines whether the order is submitted to the contractor company automatically from the system. Please note that, depending on your operating environment, the automatic ordering may not apply to all task types.
• Constructor. Each subregion can be assigned as a subregion of a specific constructor. The selection affects the Show search criterion on the Task search form. Each subregion can be assigned to only one constructor.

Contractor settings

• Mechanic. The contractor's manager can specify the subregion-specific Mechanic to whom the tasks are assigned when automatic assignment is enabled.
• Assign to mechanic automatically. When this checkbox is selected, any ordered tasks will be automatically assigned to the mechanic specified in the system. Please note that, depending on your operating environment, automatic assignment may not apply to all task types.
• Manager. This selection will assign the subregion by default to the specified manager. The selection affects the Show search criterion on the Task search form.
