KeyCom 2024.4 Release notes

Foreword:

This document describes new and noteworthy features added to KeyCom latest version. Some features are subject to additional activation/order even if it is not mentioned explicitly, contact us for more details. Also please note that the features and their functionalities are subject to change, and they can be removed or changed in the future releases.

2024.4:

Menu setup wizard

• Possibility to configure a custom menu with a freely selectable external link for KeyCom object forms

  • Available for all types of KeyCom network objects

  • Available in the top toolbar of the form after configuration

  • Configuration settings are available in the Admin site under subsection "Form integration"

Enhancements for the Change of circuit reservation functionality

• Possibility to prevent changing of the reservations for devices when a class of a device has a certain value set in the DEVICE group in Text constants

Enhanced user security and performance

• Updated code libraries to improve security measures, patch vulnerabilities and improve performance to have faster response times

Other new features and enhancements

• Changed the behavior of the current Technology filter functionality so that the telecom premises which don't contain any devices are shown on the map, regardless of whether the filter is enabled or not

• The Tree Diagram feature has been enhanced to visualize the usage state of individual physical connections from cable to cable and from cable to device

• The number of enabled reference layers can now be limited

• Optimized the performance of the Cross-section form

• Support for Estonian language in the user interface

• Unified the naming of the database identifiers to start using the term "Database ID"

Retired features

• Retired the Tasks form and related functionalities and it no longer can be found from the system

• Retired the AB measurement feature and it no longer can be found from the system

REST API

• Added removeRedundancy attribute to the releaseWorkOrder REST API service

• Added support for deleteWorkOrder REST API endpoint

• Added a new Duct group end point that allows end user to get list of existing duct groups, manage details of duct groups, delete existing duct groups, and add the existing duct group to the conduit

• The decimal precision of spatial data returned by the API can now be controlled
