Foreword:

This document describes new and noteworthy features added to KeyCom’s latest version. Some features are subject to additional activation/order even if it is not mentioned explicitly, contact us for more details. Please note that the features and their functionalities are subject to change, and they can be removed or changed in the future releases.


2026.2

Enhancements to Device group form

  • Renamed the Comments column to Details to match the form label

  • Added a new Device group with objects list under the Device group list button, providing a view that shows group details per device and includes device-specific columns

  • Aligned list ordering with the Device group form

  • Added audit fields as hidden-by-default columns in the Device group list

  • Added change history support for Device groups

  • Added a new Common settings tab, displaying metadata fields including Created by, Created at, Updated by, Updated at, and Database ID

Enhancements to Cross-section form

  • Added an Open in… submenu to the Cross‑section form’s Connector list context menu, with options shown based on available reservations

  • Added a Create circuit using… submenu to the Cross‑section form’s Connector list, enabling new circuit creation from logical or physical reservations

  • Added Database ID fields for telecom premises and devices/cables to the Telecom premises list and related reports, and included these IDs in Cross-section form reports (XLSX and PDF)

  • Introduced a new Device room field for documenting the telecom premises installation location and also included it in Cross-section form reports (XLSX and PDF)

  • Added a Database ID column to the Devices / Cables, Connectors and Threads lists for displaying each device’s, cable’s, thread’s and connector’s internal database ID and enabling filtering by database ID and included them to related reports

  • Added a Database ID column to the Threads for cable list

  • Added persistent user column preferences and text selection with copy-to-clipboard support to all Cross-section form lists, including Devices/Cables, Connectors, and Threads lists

Enhancements to Cable form’s Cable Customer list

  • Added a new Customers for all option to the Cable tools menu, enabling users to open the Cable customer list for the entire search group defined in the Cable form

  • Enabled grouping functionality across all columns in the Cable customer list

  • Extended the cable customer list with additional columns displaying cable details, including identification, type, usage state, installation year, length, and optional (hidden by default) fields for owner, installation type, and role

  • Added a context menu option to the Cable customer list for reserving cable threads for circuit physical reservations

Enhancements to Super circuit form

  • Super circuit form now supports Advanced export and KML/KMZ formats for reserved network elements, including related circuits and infrastructure

  • Added Change history support for the Super circuit form

Shared device connectors

  • Enhanced circuit saving with validation for shared connectors, improving the confirmation dialog that allows users to also undo overlapping reservations before saving

  • Implemented consistent highlighting of shared device connectors across the user interface including the Circuit form, diagrams, reports, and related lists—by bolding connector information and indicating multiple circuit reservations where applicable

  • Introduced a new Related circuits list on the Circuit form, allowing users to view details of circuits sharing multi-use connectors, with the current circuit highlighted and access provided via the list button submenu

Enhancements to Survey functionality

  • Added new mapping configurations (T3 PIH T11 (from the ground level) and T3 PIH T11 (from the open trench))

  • Added new survey layers to Layers: Survey accuracy, Survey depth, and Survey height accuracy

Other new features and enhancements

  • Added a Change history tool to the Contract form and implemented multi-object change history support covering the contract and its related products and objects

  • Introduced new form-specific read-only fields, allowing administrators to configure read-only fields per form and environment

  • Added the ability to export the selected route to Excel and perform an Advanced export, available only when the Automatic route search form is in Physical mode

  • The Drawing options window now retains the selected settings between object placements

  • Added support for label extensions for the Empalme type of telecom premises

  • Added support for label extensions on distribution network cables to display administrative names

  • Added support for label extensions for feeding network cables to display administrative names

  • Improved the performance of the Global change list feature

  • Introduced functionality in the Circuit form to update circuit installation addresses based on logical and physical reservations of circuit sections

  • Added an Owner field to the Area form, with selectable values defined in the admin site

  • Added a Common settings tab to the Contract form, displaying created/updated metadata and the Database ID

  • Included Database ID columns in the Circuit report service output

  • Included all active Database ID columns from the Circuit form in the Work order report

  • Added Database ID columns for telecom premises, cables, threads/fibers, devices, and connectors to the Circuit form’s Physical reservations grid

  • Added Database ID columns to the Circuit form’s Logical reservations grid

  • Extended the Cable drawing dialog to remember user selections after creating a cable

  • Added a Search using form criteria option to the catalog, allowing users to find matching templates based on current form value

  • Added support for comments on physical connections. Users can add comments when creating new connections and update them later on existing ones.

PostgreSQL compatibility

  • Added support for the Logical mass connection change report

Rest API

  • Added a CRUD REST API for Map Views, allowing users to save and manage map view configurations in Nexus

  • Added API support for the Type field in Survey point form

  • Updated the Device group REST API to have the new audit fields (created_by, created_at, updated_by, updated_at)

  • Defined two dedicated EAV fields for areas and plans to store the API key reference and the contact email address used for uploads

  • Updated the survey file DELETE endpoint to delete all linked survey results before removing the survey file, ensuring successful deletion from the UI

  • Added the location accuracy, height accuracy, and depth fields to the Survey point API, making them available alongside existing survey point data

  • Enhanced the Info tool REST API by extending it with additional attributes
