Keypro and Blue Idea Begin Collaboration in the Nordics

A new seamlessly integrated Blue Idea integration brings modern, multichannel disruption communication to KeyAqua and KeyHeat products

Keypro is introducing a new communication service from Blue Idea as part of the KeyAqua and KeyHeat NIS products. With this new integration, we expand our customers’ ability to communicate effectively and reliably with their end-users about water and heating outages, maintenance work, and other service disruptions.

This collaboration covers the entire Nordic region where Blue Idea’s services are available, addressing the growing demand for efficient and user-friendly communication tools in utility operations.

The application developed by Blue Idea is a multichannel communication platform that supports not only SMS messages, but also email, voice messages, website integrations, and QR code links. This enables more effective and context-aware communication methods. The solution is fully integrated with Keypro’s products and includes features such as automatic updates of public phone numbers/contact information, unlimited message lengths, and flexible recipient list management.

“Our customers have been requesting this expansion for a long time, and we are happy to now meet that demand,” says Keypro’s Chief Operating Officer Hans Valldén.

“Modern, multichannel disruption communication is a specialized area. Through this collaboration with Blue Idea and our new integration, we aim to ensure the best possible user experience for Keypro customers in disruption communication as well.”

Smooth Transition – Familiar Support Available

The Blue Idea application will be introduced as an alternative alongside existing supply interruption communication services, and we warmly recommend all our customers to switch to the Blue Idea solution due to its broader functionality and future-proof capabilities. Any transition to the new service will be carried out seamlessly with Keypro support available throughout the process.

Customers switching to the Blue Idea application will continue to receive Keypro’s regular application support, and in addition, Blue Idea provides customer support for their own service.
