Keypro announces the 2024.4 release of its product suite

We are proud to announce the general availability of the 2024.4 release of our Network Information System (NIS) product suite. This latest release introduces significant upgrades to KeyCom for Telecoms and Internet Service Providers (ISPs), KeyAqua for water utilities, KeyHeat for district heating providers, and KeyLight for street lighting network managers and municipalities.

The 2024.4 release underscores our dedication to building a robust and future-proof NIS suite. In addition to updates to core components and libraries, the upgrade resolves issues found in previous versions. Our goal is to deliver a smoother, more stable user experience for all of our customers.

Highlights of 2024.4

In addition to improvements in security and performance, version 2024.4 brings a number of important new features to the NIS suite, including:

• Customizable menu links for network object forms: Users can now configure a custom menu within object forms, enabling the integration of a freely selectable external link.
• Enhanced tree diagrams: Improved diagramming capabilities make it easier to visualize and manage cable-to-cable connections.
• New REST API endpoints and control over spatial data precision: The 2024.4 release introduces REST API endpoints for duct groups, along with functionality for releasing and deleting work orders, expanding automation and integration options for Keypro customers. The decimal precision of spatial data returned by the API can now be controlled.

Streamlined upgrade and continued multilingual support

The 2024.4 version is available to all Keypro SaaS and maintenance customers at no additional cost. New customers will automatically access the new 2024.4 capabilities, while our Technical Support team will schedule suitable times for upgrades with existing customers. The transition to 2024.4 has been designed to be seamless, with backward compatibility for recent versions, minimizing the need for additional user training. Our products continue to support multiple languages, including English, Finnish, Swedish, Danish, Spanish and Catalan. Further language expansions are planned in the 2025 releases.
