Network quality - What does it mean?
When a new network is created, it is essential that the network is always kept intact. This means that the documented network must be properly connected. Every line object must connect at both ends to a point object, and every point object must be connected to a line object.
The most important requirement for the Supply interruption
form is network quality. This means that all network objects are correctly connected to each other. Requirements for an intact network:
- All ducts/conduits must be connected at both ends.
- Valves and other point objects must be connected to ducts/conduits.
Notes related to operational status
- All objects that are in use must be properly connected.
- If objects in the Planned or Discarded state should not be considered, they must either remain unconnected to objects that are in use, or be configured in the analysis based on an agreement with Keypro.
Network quality projects
The network must be intact. This can be achieved in several ways:
- Ordering an “Data analysis and data correction” project from Keypro. This is the recommended option for correcting large amounts of data.
- Reviewing and correcting the network manually. For example, by using the Network follower
tool or by locating unconnected objects from forms and fixing them. - Ordering a special map layer from Keypro. This layer highlights unconnected objects on the map. It significantly helps with correcting and maintaining network integrity.
