KeyCom 2024.1 Release notes

Foreword:

This document describes new and noteworthy features added to KeyCom latest version. Some features are subject to additional activation/order even if it is not mentioned explicitly, contact us for more details. Also please note that the features and their functionalities are subject to change, and they can be removed or changed in the future releases.

2024.1:

Circuit form enhancements

• Implemented a new layout for the Circuit form for a more user friendly experience:
  • Content of the form is now diveded into several tabs (Information, Comments, Attachments and Rental contracts)
  • The default size of the Circuit form is now adjusted to fit smaller devices
• Added new Telecom premises related data columns for Logical and Physical reservations tabs:
  • Telecom premises name
  • Telecom premises type
  • Telecom premises technical info
  • Address
  • Zipcode and City
  • Municipality
  • Telecom premises remarks
• Added new Device related data columns for Logical and Physical reservations tabs:
  • Device class
  • Device type
  • Device remarks
• Implemented a new highlighting functionality for the Connectors list of the Cross section form which only highlights those device connectors where two or more circuits reserve the same device connector
• Improved the Circuit work order report so that the telecom premises identification and address information are now on separate sections on the report

Cross section form enhancements

• Possibility to create a Cross-section report also with related sub-devices
• Added a new search functionality which allows the user to write a free-form search condition on the Cross-section form and as a result to see those corresponding texts highlighted on the Devices/Cables list
• Details about the installation address of the circuit are now presented more accurately by showing the abbreviation of the desired type of the installation address (Beginning, Beginning corner address, End, or Corner address at End)
• Added new options for the Connector filter form:
  • Other end address
  • Other end name
  • Other end type
• Added new Other end connection related data columns for Connectors list:
  • Other end name
  • Other end type
  • Other end technical info
  • Other end address
  • Other end zipcode & city
  • Other end municipality

Address form enhancements

• Added new information fields for the Address form:
  • Building name
  • District
  • Province
  • Subdivision
  • Country
• Enhanced the Object selection functionality so that the real name of the address and street number will be shown instead of the term "Address"

Other new features and enhancements

• Telecom premises can now be filtered by the technology of related devices
• Extended the Circuit diagram with the content of telecom premises name and type information
