Foreword:

This document describes new and noteworthy features added to KeyCom’s latest version. Some features are subject to additional activation/order even if it is not mentioned explicitly, contact us for more details. Please note that the features and their functionalities are subject to change, and they can be removed or changed in the future releases.


2025.2

Construction state colors & handling of faulty connectors/fibers (CSC)

  • Added the Construction state column to the Reservation of connections form’s grid

  • Renamed the construction state 'Broken' to 'Faulty'

  • Applied default background and text colors to the 'Construction' state field to represent different construction states on the following forms:

    • Logical reservations grid on the Circuit form

    • Threads and Connectors grid on the Cross-section form

    • Physical and Logical connections tab on the Connections management form

    • Reservation of connections

    • Connectors for device

    • Threads for cable

    • Route follower

  • Added warning messages for cases involving faulty connectors or fiber reservations

Faulty other end connection details (FOE)

  • Added a new construction state 'Faulty other end' for faulty other end connections

  • Changed the behavior of editing connector states so that when a connector’s construction state is updated Faulty, the system now also updates the state of its related connectors to Faulty other end construction state

Change of circuit reservations

  • Improved reservation handling for permanent connections by treating permanent connection and other end connection chains as a single unit, ensuring consistent endpoints and supporting dynamic chain lengths

Object templates management - Catalog feature

  • Implemented a 'Save as catalog' feature, accessible via the 'Defaults' button in the object form’s toolbar

    • Ability to save predefined values in object forms by selecting 'Save as catalogue' from the 'Save' drop-down menu and use them later as object templates

    • Available on all KeyCom network object forms

Named views enhancements and shared map views

  • Improved the Named views feature to also store active filter settings when a map view is saved

  • Added the ability to copy the shortened URL of the current map view directly to the clipboard from the Named views window

    • Added support for including the map view name and default option details in the generated map link URL

  • Added Admin tools for managing shared map views

    • Possibility to share map views and set them as the default map view for new and existing users

Other new features and enhancements

  • Added a possibility to change the default behavior of the installation year details for a network object

  • Improved the visibility of read-only fields in forms by enhancing the contrast between the text and background, making the content easier to read

  • Improved the display of connector details in the tree diagram by increasing the font size and enhancing data presentation for better readability

  • Adjusted the symbology of the subscriber point in the tree diagram, changing it from a rectangle to a square for improved visual consistency

  • Added support for Advanced export of circuits feature on PostgreSQL-based implementation

REST API

  • Extended the updateWorkOrder REST API to support handling of faulty connectors
