Map tools
The Map tools are located on the right side of the map view. You can change the location from right side to left from Settings 
. To activate Map tools, press it once on the screen and the chosen icon will turn from gray to orange. The orange color means that the tool is on. Press it again to turn it off.

Viewing objects - Info tool
1) Press Info button from the Map tools.
2) Choose a point from the map where you want to view object information.

3) The selected items are listed on the Total list. You can also press the Details button to open the item's form. Close the window by pressing the X button at the top right to start a new search.

Note! | Only the objects shown on the map are listed in the Total list. In order for the object to appear in the search listing, check that the correct map layer is active. |
Info tool based on location
Finds objects around you based on your location.

Other tools
Other tools include Open object, Add External Document, Direction and Coordinates functionalities.

Open object
To start adding a new object, press the Open object button in the menu, then select the correct Object type. The forms and properties of the object types differ, so always choose the right object type for the right use case. Read more KeyMobile network objects.
Add External Document
You can upload images and files from your mobile device to the application.
1) Press the Quick External Document .png "image(50).png"){kind=small}
button.
2) Press the Choose a file button.

3) Select:
a. the device’s camera if you want to take a new picture.
b. the file browser if you want to upload an existing file.
Note! | Depending on the device and platform, the offered function may be taking a photo or (if no camera is available) selecting a file. |
4) Take a photo or select a file in accordance with the device’s instructions.
5) Complete the form: File name, Description, Type and Document URL.
Direction
With the Direction function, you can search for a route from your own location to a certain point on the map. The function automatically opens a view in the Google maps application that searches for the route to that point.
Coordinates
With the Coordinates function, you can display the coordinates of your own location.

Note! | Make sure that you have given the browser permission to use location data (Allowing location access) and that the device has an unobstructed line of sight to GPS satellites. |
Your location
Activate user tracking so that KeyMobile will locate you on the map and automatically update your location information.
